Quick Write Instructions

This page enables you to quickly write new business using existing records and/or by creating new ones with minimal information. The idea here is to get new business into the system quickly. From there you can edit the new records to add more details.

Write new business using following steps:

  1. Select an existing defendant or create a new one.
  2. Enter the charge and court information.
  3. Select a bond/power or insert a new one.
  4. If necessary, change the Agent.
  5. Select an existing indemnitor or create a new one.
  6. Insert a Defendant Premium if your rate is not set by the State.
  7. Enter the collateral and payment information.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Review new Bond.
  10. Enter any additional information into the appropriate Bond, Defendant, Collateral, Payment and Indemnitor records.
Defendant  - Use this section to identify the Defendant. You can either select an existing Defendant (repeat customer) or insert a brand new Defendant from scratch. Select an existing defendant from the dropdown list on the left. Create a new defendant by entering his/her data in the section to the right.

 

Indemnitor  - Use this section to identify the Indemnitor. You can either select an existing Indemnitor or create a new one. If you are using a repeat indemnitor, choose his/her name from the drop down list on the left. If you need to insert a brand new Indemnitor from scratch complete the section to the right.
