Each account must establish the list of courts specific to its area of operations. The agency must establish the courts in which they generally do business.  The Master Court list contains almost all criminal courts in the country.

The Court Window opens with a list of all courts appearing at the bottom of the Search Frame.  Clicking on one of these records causes that bond to appear in the focus frame.  To create a new  collateral record, click Insert New Record in the Search Frame.  To edit the existing record, click Edit in the Focus Frame.

Each account may also establish a link to the court web sites in which they do business.  See My Court Links.

From the Courts pages, choose Add Courts from the left hand frame.  The Master Court list appears in the focus frame.

It is generally easiest best to work with a subset of the Master Court list.  Searches may be done by State, County, Zip, City, Municipal, Superior, Juvenile, or Federal Courts.  To create a subset, choose the search method from the drop down list at the top of the focus frame, for instance, Courts for a State.  Click Start Search.

Enter the state in the field above “Finish Search,” then click the Finish Search button.  Those courts meeting the criteria entered will appear in the list below.  Scroll through the list and click “Add this court” for all courts you wish to include in the Account Court list.  As they are added, those courts will appear in the frame to the right.

The list of chosen courts will be the list presented when choosing courts elsewhere in the system.

Note:  The court list is not updated until a new search is requested.
